Neurology Department at Lakeshore Animal Health Partners in Mississauga

Neurology is the study of the nervous system, including the spinal cord, brain, nerves, and muscles. Veterinary Neurologists provide specialized care to pet patients with neurologic symptoms. This can include, but is not limited to, seizures, spinal pain, weakness, gait abnormalities, loss of balance, vision problems, or cognitive changes.

Our Neurology Service has the technology and specialty training to provide the highest level of care to our patients. Lakeshore Animal Health Partners has extensive diagnostic capabilities, including a 3T MRI, which allows us to obtain high quality images of the nervous system (i.e. brain and spinal cord), leading to more accurate and informed diagnoses. The Neurology Department at LAHP (Mississauga) works alongside the other specialty departments in our hospital to ensure your dog or cat is provided with the most comprehensive care.
