Dr. Emily Smith

Location: Lakeshore Animal Health Partners in Mississauga, ON

Dr. Smith completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 2020 at the Ontario Veterinary College, followed by completion of a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Toronto in 2021. She has since been working exclusively in emergency medicine and has always had a passion for the ER. She has a special interest in gastrointestinal emergencies, trauma and pain management.

She has a Labrador Retriever named Junie and a Manx cat named Violet, whom she is obsessed with. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, video gaming and relaxing at the cottage.
