Internal Medicine Department at Toronto Animal Health Partners in North York
Our pets suffer from many of the same diseases we do, including those affecting the gastrointestinal, renal, endocrine, immune, urinary, hepatic and respiratory systems. Specialists who deal with conditions that fit under this umbrella are called veterinary Internal Medicine specialists. Internal Medicine Specialists use multiple diagnostic tools to obtain diagnoses and work closely with other specialists in the hospital to provide continuing care in patients with multiple diseases.
At Toronto Animal Health Partners, we provide cat and dog endoscopy, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, cystoscopy, and rhinoscopy. Advanced imaging can be pursued alongside our Internal Medicine Specialists with our 32-slice CT scan and available ultrasound.
