Dr. Ben Liao

Dr. Liao joined us in August 2024, from his position as assistant professor of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine and Anesthesiology at Auburn University, where he has been for 4 years.  He earned his DVM and then Master of Veterinary Medicine in Taiwan in 2011.  He did a residency in Anesthesia and Analgesia at OVC, followed by a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at Madison, Wisconsin, and is now double-boarded in Anesthesia and Emergency/Critical Care.

Dr. Liao has recently moved to Toronto with his wife and young son.  We are thrilled to have him join our team to support and grow our anesthesia service at Toronto Animal Health Partners.
