Dr. Melanie Costa

Location: Toronto Animal Health Partners in North York, ON

Originally from Markham, Melanie completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Ontario Veterinary College.

Throughout her academic career, Melanie gained valuable experience working at the Toronto Zoo, volunteering with non-releasable birds of prey, fostering 15 cats and kittens, and working at a small animal general practice. She is eager to continue her learning journey as an intern, with a particular interest in neurology, and plans to specialize in this field in the future.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Melanie enjoys working out, playing hockey and volleyball, hiking and camping with her dog, and engaging in creative activities such as sewing and painting. She has two cats and one very spoiled dog.
